Does Medicare cover my Vacuum Pump?

The short answer is no.

Currently, Medicare in Australia does not cover the costs of any Vacuum Erection Devices.

One of my 2019 missions is to call people up and listen to hold music until I find out why.

The longer answer is that most private health funds (if you have medical device extras) cover some costs of medical grade vacuum devices, like the Vacurect that we recommend for men after prostate cancer treatment.

For more information on how to make a claim through your private health fund for your VED, please see this post.
