Pulse Solo Review: Vibrator for Men with ED.

This review was written by a member of the Touchy Subject community. He is 14 months post Prostatectomy. Please be aware this is one man’s opinion, your experience may be different.

The objective of my review is to assist men who, like myself, are experiencing erectile dysfunction. My aim is to find devices that induce an erection, or orgasm, or both (whether rehabilitating solo, or with a partner).

Hurrah! This little gem is ideal for stimulating a flaccid, non-complying penis!

Unlike other toys (such as the Cobra Libre by Fun Factory) that require insertion into the opening, the soft wings of the Pulse Solo ‘open up’ to wrap my penis in a world of vibrations.

Reasons I enjoy the Pulse Solo:

  • I can easily place rather than insert my soft lubricated penis onto the vibrating pad. This pad is designed for maximum pleasure against the frenulum.

  • The toy’s many settings deliver every form of vibration from a mild tingle to an earth-shattering shake.

  • The enveloping vibrations stimulated blood flow and engorgement for me.

  • I can grasp the rubberised wings of the toy to apply hand-gripped pressure to my shaft and glans.

  • The Pulse Solo permits jelqing (which in my case, assists with creating an erections).

  • The open design of the Pulse Solo allows urine to drip away, therefore circumventing the Climacturia issue experienced with the Cobra.

  • The Pulse Solo is like most modern, well designed devices. Fully rechargeable, easy to wash, waterproof, and made of medical-grade silicone.

It can also be used elsewhere…

During my post surgery rehabilitation I’ve been experimenting with other parts of my groin to see whether I can generate toe-curling pleasure elsewhere.

I’ve found that if I apply deep firm vibrations to the base of my penis, hard up against the pelvic bone, those vibrations penetrate into my pelvic floor muscles and internal sensory receivers.

Because of these vibrations, I can achieve a completely different orgasm to the one achieved by my puberty-learnt hand job!

So once my penis has achieved semi or fully erect status, I use the vibrating pressure pad of the Pulse Solo to massage the entire underside of my penis.

This is an extremely pleasurable feeling and no other toy I have researched or tried has the same outcome.

Partner Play for Couples

It was easy to bring the Pulse Solo into partner play, another huge benefit.

Your partner could use the Pulse to upgrade manual, or even oral stimulation. When the toy is placed around the base of the penis, the glans are visible for oral sex.

When the Pulse is wrapped around the penis, this essentially turns you into a vibrator! If your partner has a clitoris, there is the potential for many types of stimulation.

Partner play with this toy is only limited by imagination.

Verdict

For men with erectile dysfunction, the Pulse Solo is easy to use and may provide excellent assistance in establishing and maintaining an erection and/or achieving orgasm.
